Whether you are one of the regulars, or someone who has recently stumbled
across Melbourne Riffraff, thanks for visiting! If the thought “who are
these hooligans, anyway?” has also popped into your mind, then you have
come to the right place for answers.
We are a student collective from Melbourne University dedicated not only to
publishing the works of aspiring media writers, but with the hope that Riffraff
can be a launching pad of experience. We understand that having your work
read and enjoyed by others can be just that little kick you need.
The Riffraff team endeavour to create an online network that celebrates
creativity, inventiveness and just some good ol’ fashioned writing. Whilst
we attempt to publish as many submissions as possible, it is not always
practical to include every piece we receive. But this does not mean we
don’t like your stuff! Check out our blog and Facebook page for some ideas
on what we are currently looking for.
Whilst we make every attempt to edit in collaboration with the authors,
the opinions expressed in individual articles do not necessarily reflect
